Our mission statement
Primary aims are:
To proclaim and offer Christ to all people
                         To offer worship to God
To care for the church family and its neighbourhood
To exercise responsible stewardship of all God's gifts
To serve the community locally, nationally and internationally

The Church wishes to take the opportunity to provide a Christian witness in Pocklington, in fellowship, caring for others and service to the local community.
Alongside all ventures the Church maintains its contributions to the life of many families in the town and surrounding area through ordinary worship, home visits, weddings, christenings and funerals. The work of the Ministers, Bible Study, the Choir, Junior Church (Sunday Club) and Women's Fellowship may easily be taken for granted but they are all at the heart of what the Church is all about. Year in year out, the church community gives financial support to the National Children's Home, Christian Aid, Cancer Research and Methodist Homes for the Aged amongst others. Our relief and development fund gives help throughout the world wherever and whenever it is needed.
