Our mission statement
Primary aims are:
To proclaim and offer Christ to all people
                         To offer worship to God
To care for the church family and its neighbourhood
To exercise responsible stewardship of all God's gifts
To serve the community locally, nationally and internationally

Chapel Redevelopment
A major redevelopment project was completed in 2000 to improve the welcoming appearance of the premises and provide improved accommodation and comfort.
Considering the large cost of the development does the Church membership now believe that its faith was justified and that it made the right decisions in the 1990's ?. YES the Church has benefited both in its Worship, fellowship and service to the wider community.
Whilst the Church membership saw the need to have suitable premises for the 21st century they also wished to take the opportunity to provide a greater Christian witness in Pocklington, in fellowship, caring for others and service to the local community.
Alongside all the new ventures the Church will maintain its contributions to the life of many families in the town and surrounding area through ordinary worship, home visits, weddings, christenings and funerals. The work of the Ministers, the Choir, Junior Church (Sunday Club), Women's Fellowship and Christian Endeavour may easily be taken for granted but they are all at the heart of what the Church is all about. Year in year out, the church community gives financial support to the National Children's Home, Christian Aid, Cancer Research and Methodist Homes for the Aged amongst others. Our relief and development fund gives help throughout the world wherever and whenever it is needed.
